My Hero Duel products

Today I’m talking duel products, the ones I can always rely on, even when there’s limited space in my makeup bag. I feel like it’s taken me YEARS to find products that not only work well but also save me time, space and have multiple uses. These are some of my travel buddies, my multitaskers and my hard-working products.

Finding an all-rounder lippy is often a headache. If you’re looking for a pretty everyday shade, that also hydrates then look no further. This is a brilliant lightweight winter lipstick. The Hourglass Girl lip stylo contains Jojoba, shea butter and sunflower seeds to nourish your lips – no lip balm needed. The creamy texture swoops over your lips effortlessly, leaving a silky, glossy finish. It comes in 20 shades so the only inconvenience is actually trying to choose one.

The By Terry Ombre Blackstar comes in 8 lush shades (I use bronze moon) I want them all! I picked this up thinking it was an bronze/brown metallic eyeliner, I was pleasantly surprised to find it’s actually an eyeshadow. Not usually one to stray from my powder shadows, this Creamy shadow stick has changed my mind, it really is a game changer and the ultimate in saving time. The formula glides on so smoothly, it can be worn as a day shadow/liner, or you can build for an intense evening eye. It melts into my skin making it really easy to blend, especially when I don’t have a brush available. I just use my fingers to blend this around my eyes and it looks fab!

The tiniest mascara wand ever! If you’re more of a super quick brow kinda girl then give the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows a whizz. I love this product, I don’t just use it because it saves time, I’m just really rubbish at applying any type of brow makeup, unless it’s a mascara wand. The tiny wand guarantees precision and control of how much product you apply. The most annoying thing about many brow gels I’ve used, is the brown/blond gels often look reddish on my brows. This formula is an ashy brown tone which is my perfect shade. The gel is easily buildable for when I want a more dramatic look.

The Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre in Blondie is my ultimate lipstick topper. It’s just so beautiful, it adds the prettiest golden/champagne sparkle to my pout. This is one of the very few lip glosses I’ve tried that isn’t sticky and really does last. I wear it on its own the day or use to accentuate my cupids bow. It also makes an incredible lipstick topper, adding radiance to my favourite matte lipsticks.
